my year thus far...

so it's been a long year.
but short at the same time.

and it's been a good one.
it's definitely been quite the rollercoaster.
back in january i finally closed the california chapter of my life.
and though it was hard to say goodbye to my house,
and all my old friendships and my old relationship,
i feel like i'm finally on the path to happiness.
first off, i enrolled in drawing 110.
i learned sooo much!

next i've met some amazing people.
these people have really helped me through this year.
i've learned so much from them.
and though not everything works out the way you want them to,
whether it's friendships or relationships,
you have to take the good from whatever it be,
and move forward.
i'm so grateful for the opportunities i've had,
and the people i've met.
and most importantly the people who will be with me through
thick and thin.
metaphorically and literally.
i love you guys.
so here are some people that have had an impact on my life...

me and kyle had so much fun together.
he really taught me so much.

i love going to school so close to such a beautiful place.
i'm so blessed to have the temple walking distance from my apartment.
it's amazing.

this is barbie and angie.
i've had so many good times,
good laughs,
cries,
with these girls.
i'm so grateful to have met them.

this is my trisha,
my sister in another life,
and i love her guts.
this was the bundt cake we tried to make.
funny story.
i love you trish!

we had such a blast that night.
a show, bowling, an cotton candy.
oh yeah!

i'm so lucky to be here at school.
i 've been blessed to have the opportunity to hear
henry b. eyring and david a. bednar speak.
where else would i be able to have that blessing?

i was fortunate to have enrolled myself in a book of mormon class.
and my teacher brother steed has changed my life.
he is an amazing man.
i've really learned how to ponder and search out the things i need in my life,
and how to really apply the scriptures into my own life.
when i leave,
i will take away so many wonderful things.
because for once in my life,
things make sense.
and i truly appreciate it.

i can't wait to go home when school is over to share
with my family how much i've changed.
i turly am a blessed person.

i know that if i endure to the end,
and just hold out,
and do all that i know i should be doing,
taking it one day at a time,
i will be happy.
and i will continue to be blessed.
i am truly blessed.
whether somedays i think it or not,
there's no other way i could be in the place i'm in
without having been blessed.
