mmmkay.
so i have a super funny story and it was such an adventure!
oh boy i really can't et over how truly blessed i am with the people i have met the last few months!
well we were gonna go country dancing with the guys,
but last minute rach, carrie and i decided to go on an adventure...
stina had to work, so she didn't get to go. :(
okay so we drive out to ririe at about 9:30 to go to carrie's bf chad's house to borrow his SCOUT while he's out of town.
and it had kinda been raining a little all day and it actually rained a little on the way there.
and seeing how the scout has no roof we were a little worried, but we were just "well like what the heck?!"
mostly because we were determined to prove to the guys we could go out and have fun without them.
so anyways we had to roll into town to get some gas...
and halfway there we realize that we forget to turn the headlights on.
and since it's an old car we had to investigate to even find them.
and poor carrie could barely reach the steering wheel and p.s. it's a stick shift too...
well as soon as we get into town sure enough there is a cop parked right there at the corner next to the gas station.
and we were like OH MAN!
cuz since we came from just around the corner we hadn't dug out the seat belts yet
and NO headlights.
we thought we were SO screwed.
well we park right next to the gas thingy and the cop pulls in behind us
and e gets out and is like 'well how are you girls doin?'
i don't remember much about the conversation
except for the fact we didn't have the proof of insurance on us either.
so we thought we were gonna get the biggest ticket everrr.
BUT the cop knew carrie's bf and we got off with a 'last freebie from lieutenant cox'
and we know the cop was totally laughing on the inside at 3 hot girls rolling into town in this scout.
all the guys at the gas station were laughing too.
how we got outta one is only a blessing!!!
so then we head up to kelley canyon and by then it's pitch black outside
and we drive far up into the woods and somehow we managed to hear a huge load of frogs,
so we park the car and decide to make a bonfire in the middle of this swamp with all the frogs.
turns out it was a spot where they were clearing land of trees and so we ad these huge piles of trees all around us!
and we must've used half a gallon of gas to get our fire going!
and we roasted the HUGE marshmallows and had a total blast!
and amazingly the sky cleared up so we got to see stars had fun chillin in the dark.
i love these girls!
and best of all carrie got us there and back in the scout when davie laughed at us and said were couldn't do it!
but we did!!!
i love it.
and that's my story!
